Short-term treatment program

This form of treatment provides addicts with concentrated aid, which is found in 12 step approach.
Long-treatment program
In this case, treatment is provided 24 hours a day. It can take place in a residential place that comprises of caregivers and counselors that are attending the program. This form of treatment continues for months or even more than a year. This rehab program is done in a non-clinical setting known as therapeutic community. The forms of treatment programs include various aspects of the treatment plan known as social education.
12 step treatment

This form of treatment is meant for the individuals that are ready to come out of treatment.
